Ranger Cemetery is now 'Historic' (The Port Lavaca Wave)
Ranger Cemetery will now be protected in perpetuity. The cemetery was honored Saturday with an official Texas Historical Cemetery designation, which protects the cemetery from destruction. The cemetery, which is believed to be one of the oldest in Texas, has existed since 1840.
