A funeral will be held Labor Day for a Raleigh man who drowned in Lake Gaston in Halifax County in the early morning hours Aug. 28. Funeral for Brooklyn Girl
After her funeral, pallbearers dressed in white carried the body of 11-year-old Briana Ojeda in a white casket, followed by her family. They, too, were dressed in white to symbolize the innocence of the little girl they called an angel. They laid her casket in a white and glass hearse adorned with pink and peach flowers drawn by white horses.
